We recently had the honor to perform for World Acceptance Corporation, one of the largest small loan consumer finance companies in the U.S. and Mexico, at Lucas Oil stadium in Indianapolis. Wow! What a special event! The 1100+ employees were treated to a tour of the stadium as well as plenty of food stations and open bars – along with a three-hour+ performance by Party on the Moon.

While it wasn’t my first trip to Indianapolis (we had the extraordinary experience of performing at the opening of the JW Marriott with the great Diana Ross in 2010), it was my first trip to Lucas Oil Stadium, and I found it very impressive.  There is not a bad seat in the house and it is one of the finest sports facilities in the country.  It was exciting to see the venue where some of the greatest football games, with the great Peyton Manning, have been played.

[And speaking of Peyton Manning, I have to add that he – along with his whole family – has a special place with the band.  We played at his brother Eli’s wedding and have performed several events where the Manning family have been guests. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, and we support the great work they do in their communities.]

So, back to the event… The event was great, but really it was the World Acceptance employees who made the evening so special.  They were one of the kindest groups we have had the pleasure to play for.  We were told this group works hard and we saw for ourselves that they play hard.  And, it was a highlight to see one of the employees honored with a presentation of a brand new car!

We also performed for World Acceptance two years ago when they rented Six Flags Over Texas for their party.  One of the joys of our business is you get to see past clients, which is why we had been looking forward to this show for months.  It was well worth the wait!

Thanks to World Acceptance for having us.  We hope to see the friends we’ve made again.  And, if you ever get a chance to see a game a Lucas Oil Stadium, I recommend it.   I don’t know if I will ever throw a touchdown on the field, but I did see the band and myself on the jumbotron, which was pretty cool.
